Veteran John A. Joseph, of the Veterans Council, was announced as the Veteran of the Year for his commitment and dedication to fellow veterans.

“Your professionalism and dependability are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service,” Richard Voutour, of the city’s veterans services office, said.
