During the ceremony, Veterans Agent Richard Voutour announced that Richard Roberge was the Leominster veteran of the year. Mr. Roberge is an Air Force veteran.

In presenting the award, Mr. Voutour said Mr. Roberge has been involved in all of the city’s veterans groups.

“He’s done it all,” Mr. Voutour said.

In accepting the award, Mr. Roberge said he appreciates the honor, but it just seems natural for him to help others.
